The Mediven® Comfort AG thigh-high stocking is developed for the treatment of venous disorders and edema in the entire leg up to the thigh. The soft and even pressure distribution supports fluid drainage, reduces swelling, and helps relieve symptoms such as tired, heavy, or tense legs. Thanks to the flexible and comfortable material, this stocking is very suitable for daily use.
Material features
The Mediven® Comfort is made from an exceptionally soft, circular knit material that facilitates putting on and taking off. The fine knitting technique ensures high walking and wearing comfort. The thigh band fits smoothly without pinching and is available with a knit band or narrow silicone top band depending on the version. The material is breathable, skin-friendly, and certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

The stocking is available in various natural colors. The anatomical fit fits nicely from ankle to thigh. The elastic, soft thigh band stays firmly in place without slipping down or causing marks. The material feels supple and provides even support over the entire leg.

Despite this information, you are advised to determine your size in consultation with your treating physician.
Please take into account the advice to order two different sizes. You are advised to order one garment in your size and one smaller than your current size. This is because you will swell immediately after the treatment, causing your ready-to-wear size to increase. During the healing process, the fluid decreases, reducing your circumference.
The worn clothing will then be too loose, resulting in less compression. This reduces the effectiveness. By wearing a smaller garment at that time, you will again benefit from compression in the correct zones.
