Material characteristics
The Mediven® Active is made from a robust and durable knit with a sporty, ribbed structure. The soft and barely noticeable toe seam provides extra comfort, while the reinforced heel and sole ensure long-lasting wear resistance. The wide, soft cuff fits comfortably and keeps the stocking securely in place without pinching. The material is breathable, skin-friendly, and certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, making it suitable for intensive daily use.

Despite this information, you are advised to determine your size in consultation with your treating physician.
Please take into account the advice to order two different sizes. You are advised to order one garment in your size and one smaller than your current size. This is because you will swell immediately after the treatment, causing your ready-to-wear size to increase. During the healing process, the fluid decreases, reducing your circumference.
The worn clothing will then be too loose, resulting in less compression. This reduces the effectiveness. By wearing a smaller garment at that time, you will again benefit from compression in the correct zones.
