After you have had a Brazilian Buttock lift performed, you are advised not to put pressure on the transplanted area, the buttocks and/or hips, by sitting or lying down for at least 6 to 12 weeks.

It is extremely important to take this advice to heart, because pressure on the transplanted fat can prevent the fat cells from attaching to the natural body fat. Without adhesion, there is a good chance that the transplanted fat will break down, which has a negative impact on the overall result of the treatment performed.

Reduced mobility during your recovery
Recovery from a BBL causes discomfort in the beginning. You retain moisture, experience pain and a sore feeling, wear tight compression clothing that presses on the sensitive treated areas and you will experience stiff muscles. All this greatly hinders your physical condition and mobility.

The importance of a good night's sleep
A good night's sleep has a major influence on physical recovery. If you are only allowed to sleep on your stomach and cannot change positions, this hinders a good night's sleep and therefore your recovery. Especially if stomach sleeping is not your preference and if your abdominal pain has also been treated.

Relief from discomfort
The air mattress from After Surgery ensures that you sleep better. You can sleep on your back and on your side without the treated area receiving pressure. The buttocks or hips fall into the opening, which has an inside size of 43 centimeters and an outside size of 56 centimeters. You can make the opening wider or narrower by filling or deflating the mattress more. In addition, your (lower) back is supported, which provides relief.

The mattress has a size of 183 x 102 x 45. You can choose to cover the air mattress with a single fitted sheet to collect the (wound) fluid. Using underpads is also recommended, especially during the first few days. If necessary, you can wipe the mattress with a slightly damp cloth.
