Material features
The Mediven® Forte is made from an extremely robust, opaque, and durable knit that provides long-lasting compression stability. The pantyhose has an anatomically shaped pant section (gusset), which varies from standard to extra wide depending on the size for more wearing comfort. The fabric is breathable, skin-friendly, and certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Despite this information, you are advised to determine your size in consultation with your treating physician.
Please take into account the advice to order two different sizes. You are advised to order one garment in your size and one smaller than your current size. This is because you will swell immediately after the treatment, causing your ready-to-wear size to increase. During the healing process, the fluid decreases, reducing your circumference.
The worn clothing will then be too loose, resulting in less compression. This reduces the effectiveness. By wearing a smaller garment at that time, you will again benefit from compression in the correct zones.
