Material characteristics
The Mediven® for Men is made from a soft, breathable knit with a subtle rib structure that looks like an elegant men's sock. The anatomical right/left marking ensures an optimal fit around the foot. The reinforced heel and sole provide extra durability, while the wide, comfortable cuff stays firmly in place without pinching. The material is skin-friendly and certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Despite this information, you are advised to determine your size in consultation with your treating physician.
Please take into account the advice to order two different sizes. You are advised to order one garment in your size and one smaller than your current size. This is because you will swell immediately after the treatment, causing your ready-to-wear size to increase. During the healing process, the fluid decreases, reducing your circumference.
The worn clothing will then be too loose, resulting in less compression. This reduces the effectiveness. By wearing a smaller garment at that time, you will again benefit from compression in the correct zones.
