The Mediven® Elegance AD knee-high stocking is developed for women who need medical compression but also desire an elegant, subtle look. The stocking supports venous drainage, helps reduce swelling, and relieves complaints such as tired, heavy, or tense legs. Thanks to its fine, transparent appearance, the stocking is ideal for daily use, both with casual and more formal clothing.
Material characteristics
The Mediven® Elegance is made of a fine, transparent knit that resembles a fashionable pantyhose, while still providing reliable therapeutic compression. The soft, elastic toe area ensures extra comfort and freedom of movement. The wide, soft band fits comfortably around the calf and ensures the stocking stays firmly in place without pinching. The material is breathable, skin-friendly, and certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Despite this information, you are advised to determine your size in consultation with your treating physician.
Please take into account the advice to order two different sizes. You are advised to order one garment in your size and one smaller than your current size. This is because you will swell immediately after the treatment, causing your ready-to-wear size to increase. During the healing process, the fluid decreases, reducing your circumference.
The worn clothing will then be too loose, resulting in less compression. This reduces the effectiveness. By wearing a smaller garment at that time, you will again benefit from compression in the correct zones.
