Fit & colors
This postoperative compression garment has ¾ length shorts and provides targeted compression on the abdomen, thighs, and hips. The garment extends just below the breasts, where a narrow hem and buckle are present. Detachable and adjustable shoulder straps can be attached to this buckle to keep the garment in place and prevent it from slipping or rolling down. The shorts reach just below the knees and are finished with a soft binding, preventing the garment from rolling up or pinching. Available in black and beige.
Closures
The VD garment features a 'pull-up' design without zippers or other fastenings. This makes it easy to put on and contributes to comfort, as there are no annoying zippers or Velcro closures. Please take into account the advice to order two different sizes. You are advised to order one garment in your size and one smaller than your current size. This is because you will swell immediately after the treatment, causing your ready-to-wear size to increase. During the healing process, the fluid decreases, reducing your size.
The worn clothing will be too loose, resulting in less compression. This reduces its effectiveness. Wearing a smaller garment at that time will once again provide you with compression in the correct zones.
