The Mediven® Ulcer Kit is a complete two-layer compression system consisting of an inner stocking (liner stocking) and an outer stocking (ulcer plus stocking). The combination delivers a therapeutic compression pressure of 2 × 20 mmHg, making the stocking suitable for effective compression therapy for up to 24 hours a day. This makes the Ulcer Kit a reliable choice for the treatment of venous leg ulcers and for patients who require long-term and stable compression.
Material features
The Mediven® Ulcer Kit consists of a soft, antibacterial inner stocking that feels comfortable and helps reduce odors, and a sturdy outer stocking that provides extra compression during the day. The inner stocking has a flat, soft cuff that feels pleasant on the skin and stays in place without constricting. Both stockings are breathable, skin-friendly, and certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Despite this information, you are advised to determine your size in consultation with your treating physician.
Please take into account the advice to order two different sizes. You are advised to order one garment in your size and one smaller than your current size. This is because you will swell immediately after the treatment, causing your ready-to-wear size to increase. During the healing process, the fluid decreases, reducing your circumference.
The worn clothing will then be too loose, resulting in less compression. This reduces the effectiveness. By wearing a smaller garment at that time, you will again benefit from compression in the correct zones.
