The Mediven® Struva 35 is a compression stocking with a pressure of 35 mmHg at the ankle. This stocking is specially developed for temporary compression to stimulate venous return, for example after venous procedures or in acute thrombosis. Thanks to the even pressure distribution, the Struva 35 supports the reduction of edema, promotes blood circulation, and helps prevent complications such as hematomas or stasis formation.

Material features
The Mediven® Struva 35 is made of a strong, latex-free, and skin-friendly material with high elasticity, making the stocking easy to apply and comfortable to wear. The breathable knit and soft texture ensure optimal wearing comfort, even for extended periods. The inspection opening at the toes allows quick circulation checks.

Function
The Struva 35 provides a medical compression pressure of 35 mmHg at the ankle, which gradually decreases upwards (distal to proximal). This stimulates venous return and counteracts edema formation. This temporary compression stocking is an effective alternative to conventional bandaging techniques such as bandages.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which size is suitable for me?

For each product, you will find a size chart in the product description and next to the product images. This gives you an indication of the different dimensions.

Despite this information, you are advised to determine your size in consultation with your treating physician.

Please take into account the advice to order two different sizes. You are advised to order one garment in your size and one smaller than your current size. This is because you will swell immediately after the treatment, causing your ready-to-wear size to increase. During the healing process, the fluid decreases, reducing your circumference.

The worn clothing will then be too loose, resulting in less compression. This reduces the effectiveness. By wearing a smaller garment at that time, you will again benefit from compression in the correct zones.

What is the delivery time of the offer?

For orders from the Netherlands and Belgium, our standard range has a delivery time of 1 to 2 working days.

Some specific collections and custom-made products have a delivery time of 6-8 working days. The delivery times are stated in the product description for each product.

How are orders packaged?

The orders are packaged and shipped anonymously. Nothing on the outside of the packaging reveals the contents.
