The Mediven® Elegance is made of a fine, pantyhose-like knit that gives a subtle and elegant look without compromising medical effectiveness. The soft and elastic toe zone offers extra comfort, while the wide, soft band ensures a pleasant fit without pinching. The material is skin-friendly, breathable, and certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Despite this information, you are advised to determine your size in consultation with your treating physician.
Please take into account the advice to order two different sizes. You are advised to order one garment in your size and one smaller than your current size. This is because you will swell immediately after the treatment, causing your ready-to-wear size to increase. During the healing process, the fluid decreases, reducing your circumference.
The worn clothing will then be too loose, resulting in less compression. This reduces the effectiveness. By wearing a smaller garment at that time, you will again benefit from compression in the correct zones.
